Councilmember Justin Wedel announced today he received the endorsement from the Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce for his re-election to the Walnut Creek City Council.

Justin Wedel

Justin Wedel was elected to the Walnut Creek City Council in November 2012, was overwhelmingly re-elected in 2016, and served as Mayor during 2017-2018.

Prior to joining the City Council, Justin was an active volunteer in the community, focusing his efforts with the Bay Area Crisis Nursery, Walnut Creek on Ice, Diablo View Rotary, and Winter Nights, among others.  He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Leadership Contra Costa Alumni Association, a past Vice President. His service on the Walnut Creek City Council is also on a volunteer basis, as he has chosen to serve without pay.
